Touching the void


Activity 1:

Music at the beginning of climing is like stress for actor, like something going on hardly.


Activity 2:

In that change, music going to represented the kind of feeling such as backing to life for actor,
there is lots of hope mood, which delivered  by music to the audience.

Activity 3:

Music in that moment switch the relaxing mood to another panic mood.
The music with that kind of change, try to convey the message to the audience, that is not end of the story...., another thing coming up, although there is no dialogue, but appropriate music tell every things.

Activity 4:

Moving camera as show the nice landscape around actor has kind of music background, which force audience to think about what is next?? and voiceover as non-digetic sound slowly comes over the music to telling the answer of above question.

Sound production

                                                 SOUND 

Is motion picture with synchronous sound.
Sound in film and videos help to deliver the content of story to the audience in individual episode.

 Diegetic sound: 
Is kind of sound which blend to the picture even if it recorded separately,
with this sound  it make sense for audience to find out how objects working together in      film.  
Non-Diegetic: 
Any kind of music which they put on the background could be include in this aspect although there is different between diegetic and non-diegetic but you need to consider about using them together in film, because non-diegetic is represented as coming from a source outside the story space and still need to fist with the diegetic sound which coming from objects' motion.
Ambient:
Normally it's represented the location, atmosphere or etc. with this aspect sometimes audience can imagine what type of  place it would be without any pictures or videos.
SFX:
All the sound effect which great by someone in any device we can call SFX sound.
regularly using in special moment or special movement by objects.
Mood:


Tone:  Tone, in acoustics, sound that can be recognized by its regularity of vibration.
If some tones has more than one frequency we called overtone sounds and they represented the feeling of character, moment or etc.
Genre:
 According to the listeners' feeling when they listen to different type of music we can have :
Happy, sad, drama, dance or etc sounds.
Theme music:
All the background music which is exist background of the picture or film we called theme music. It's represented the type of story, character or etc.
Voiceover:
It works when two character have conversion in film, represented the type of conversation is it argue, love, discuss or etc.
Musical score:
A written form of a musical composition; parts for different instruments appear on separate staves on large pages.
Synchronous sound:
this is kind of sound can matched the sound to what is viewed.
this helps to engage the audience in a moment of suspense and make a real moment for audience.
Asynchronous sound:
according to opposite name from the subject above they're not really matched to what you see in screen but they provide an appropriate emotional nuance.
Contrapuntal:
Kind of noise or sound effect which doesn't match the visuals.When we hear sound that we wouldn't associate with the events on screen we would call this contrapuntal sound.
For example if we were to be watching children playing on the beach we wouldnt usually where the fast pacing music to accompany it as the two styles do not go together.
Silence:
a situation or state in which someone does not talk about or answer questions about something.
Selective sound:
Is kind of sound which represented the introduction of film or video.
with appropriate selective sound within a sequence, we can recognise the genre of story and understanding the characters. 
Sound bridges: 
Having this sound helps to transition between the sequences pass more fluidly, in some cases we need to have sound constantly in background even it goes through the different moment,situation or etc, thats why we called sound bridges.

At the first we have no-digetic sound from carriage for seconds and then it came to he screen, all the drama sound effect which give the content of story to the audience could be include of non-diegetic sound.
Horse chasing, reloading the gun, crow, man running and door broken are kind of digetic sound in this video.
